What better way for Santa to prepare for his annual sleigh ride than riding some waves?
A sea full of Christmas enthusiasts-320 to be exact- dressed up as ol’ St. Nick and spent their day getting lessons on surfing at Sydney’s Bondi Beach. They set a Guinness World Record for “the world’s biggest surf lesson,” which was held by 250 people before.
Old and young alike gathered on the beach in their suit and beard to raise money for One Wave, a non-profit surfing community that raises awareness for mental health issues.
The successful attempt was brought about by gift retailer RedBalloon and Let’s Go Surfing, a surf school in Bondi.
Not sure if Santa’s planning on changing up his travel mode yet, but he should probably consider after seeing how much fun this was.
